A FRENCH COMPENDIUM

As travellers, we must quickly learn that part of the unique experience is to expect the unexpected. Even allowing for the best preparation or intent, plans can easily fall apart and time or possessions be dissipated or lost, connections missed. Yet this inconvenience is juxtaposed by taking other more vagrant alleys that shouldn’t have been, which lead to not only the unknown, but to chance occurrences, an unexpected discovery or an incident that wasn’t planned or supposed to have happened at all in the first instant.
